Effortless networking for complex lighting systems

Barthelme LED Solutions enhances the LED controller series CHROMOFLEX and offers in addition to BUS-controlled LED controllers a new wireless controller, the CHROMOFLEX CASAMBI. The device communicates via Bluetooth Low Energy, can be networked with all CASAMBI compatible devices and has four freely assignable push-button inputs.

The new CHROMOFLEX CASAMBI LED controller is a professional interface for commissioning and controlling complex LED lighting systems. Programming and operation of the CHROMOFLEX CASAMBI can be implemented directly via the user-friendly user interface of the Casambi app on the smartphone or tablet.  For example, individual luminaires can be intuitively preset or conveniently combined to form a group using customisable icons. The maximum power of the CHROMOFLEX CASAMBI 4 channel control unit is 384 W. Each channel has an operating voltage of up to 4 A with 24 V, and 2 A in 48 V operation. In addition, four freely assignable inputs enable the connection of conventional push buttons. This enables users to also control scenes and colour sequences of individual LED luminaires or of several LED light sources grouped together in groups, in the conventional way.

The communication is based on Bluetooth Low Energy and takes place directly between the input device and the Casambi network.  This eliminates the need for additional interfaces such as routers. In addition to the LED lights connected to the LED controller, all Casambi-compatible devices can be integrated into the network. Alternatively, it is also possible to integrate the controller into existing Casambi networks. The dimensions of the CHROMOFLEX CASAMBI are 116 x 52 x 22 mm.
