Barthelme Strengthens Sustainability Commitment with ISO 14001 Certification

Barthelme has significantly reinforced its dedication to sustainability and environmental protection in the past year, achieving noteworthy milestones. One notable accomplishment is the successful certification to DIN EN ISO 14001. 

The certification attests that Barthelme has established a systematic framework for environmental management, complete with clear objectives and guidelines. It underscores the company's commitment to enhancing environmental performance, minimizing environmental impact, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Beyond contributing to environmental goals, the certification can result in cost savings through improved efficiency in resource usage and waste reduction, thereby fostering long-term economic advantages.

In addition to the ISO 14001 certification, Barthelme has taken proactive steps during the year, including the installation of four e-wallboxes for staff and customer electric vehicles. The company has also meticulously calculated the carbon footprint for scope 1 and 2, and partially scope 3. These results have informed concrete and measurable reduction targets for the coming years, showcasing Barthelme's proactive approach to environmental stewardship.
